Various colours and shades of cotton have been woven together to create a bold design on our wavy towels. Frayed edging also give these towels something a little extra. More sustainably sourced
The cotton in these towels has been produced in line with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). This is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in, and better for the sector’s future.
BCI works with partners around the world such as WWF, Solidaridad and Cotton Connect to train farmers to produce cotton more sustainably. By buying cotton products from John Lewis & Partners, you’re supporting the training of these farmers to use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil and natural habitats, reduce the use of the most harmful chemicals and apply principles of fair and decent work. Worth knowing
GSM stands for grams per square metre and is a standard measurement for the weight of a towel. A high GSM is a good indication of a thick, highly absorbent towel so at 600gsm you know these are relatively plush towels. Quality, wash after wash
At John Lewis & Partners our bath linen is reassuringly well made. We test to the highest standards of durability, colour-fastness and performance.
